A simple layered design with internal courtyards to act as light wells. The long narrow lot is surrounded by large homes and had no views. We designed living spaces looking into a series of courtyards thus creating private internal living spaces. It is a great way to create privacy within outdoor spaces on lots with overlooking problems. A design that had as many challenges as it had solutions….
