With a design brief of a partially off-the-grid home, this property utilises a natural heating and cooling system which is fully integrated into the design. We were working with a small site with large street frontage and with very restrictive building conditions, but with a design for tip-up style doors in the living room, we were able to create a home with a seamless flow between the indoors and outdoors, providing extra living space.
