A roof off renovation we did for a professional client within an upmarket golf estate. The original house was a tired old “Tuscan” style copy so prevalent in the late 80’s and early 90’s. We designed a contemporary envelope to the existing structure, removed a few walls here, and added a few there to create something completely different to what came before it. The existing house is positioned looking straight down a Par 5 fairway with a river to the front right. The house was opened up to maximise the golf course and river views from all rooms where possible. Glass boxes with sliding timber cladding screens were added to maximise views and privacy. Turning the “old and tired” to “new and fresh”….. Love this game…..
